Phil.T Phaxx - on a hot summer evening

"One day, on a hot summer evening while enjoying the sun and drinking a couple of beers, Michael was in the mood to spin some records."

In the mood to spin some records
Because the sun and beers made him a bit laid-back, Michael didn't feel the urge to play the hard styled music, but was more in the mood for some easy going music? When Michael and his friends were relaxing they always played a dvd of Fatboy Slim and Housequake. It made them happy and gave a good summer feeling. So the guys were talking about this kind of music and suggested Michael to give it a try, since he was already familiar in the "Hardstyle" music, to discover the feeling to spin other music.

So he downloaded a few tracks and the next week when the guys came together Michael took his gear and started playing the "House/Electro" songs. All of his friends were amazed, and so was Michael!

djs-defqon-2005b200x150 With this kind of music, you didn't have to wait for breaks to start, or for the outro to begin. These songs could be mixed as fast as possible, which gave a huge opportunity, since Michael always loved the fast mixing!

So Michael started practicing and within no time he already had his first "House" gig.

Since then he has a monthly evening in his neighborhood to perform and even became a resident DJ on the "Leip" parties, for which Charly Rocks and himself made the anthem.

Michael knew he couldn't perform with his original artist name of ShadowPhaxx, because otherwise the visitors wouldn't know what kind of music to expect.

So he decided to keep ShadowPhaxx for the harder styles and created a new name for the "Dirty House" he was playing.
